Diane L.Jost of Waukesha passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on January 17, 1938, in Lebanon, New Hampshire, the daughter of Eddie and Marion (Thibodeau) St. Germain. Diane cherished her East Coast roots and had a great love for the mountains of New Hampshire, the ocean, and seafood.
A graduate of Spencerian College, Diane spent time in her profession as a medical secretary until becoming a loving wife and mother. For many years thereafter she devoted her time to raising her four children. Later, she provided her compassionate service in Aftercare at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home. Her faith was integral to her life; she was a dedicated member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where she contributed significantly as a representative for the Human Concerns Committee.
Diane was deeply involved with the Wisconsin Right to Life Waukesha Chapter, where she enjoyed volunteering for community events such as the annual rummage sale, rose sale, and scheduling of volunteers for the Waukesha County Fair Booth. Known for her meticulous nature, she took great pride in her floral arrangements, cake decorating, and baking her beloved muffins.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Robert “Bob” Jost, and their four children: Karen (Mike) Bowers, LeeAnn Kyle, Jennifer (Oscar) Medina, and Bob (Stacey) Jost. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Brighton Bowers, Mikaela Bowers, Taylor Kyle, Casey (Antonio) Leo, Riley Kyle, Kelsey Kyle, Sophia Medina, Oscar Medina, Rachel Jost, Dylan Jost, Samantha Jost, Ashley Jost, and Derek Jost, along with her great-grandson, Luca Leo. She is also remembered by her sisters-in-law, Joan Huber and Ellin Baranowski, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Sally Redmond, and brother, Brian St. Germain.
