Diego Sanchez-Diaz

Diego Sanchez-Diaz, 64, of Waukesha, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 12, 1942 in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Hermogenes and Leonor (nee Diaz) Sanchez. On January 10, 1969 he married Luz Morales in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. He has been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1974 and for over 20 years had been an usher at church. He had worked at General Casting from 1974 until 1986. He was employed at Carroll College, from 1990 to 2007. He is survived by his loving wife Luz, of Waukesha. Dear father of Diego (Jan) Sanchez, Jr. of Waukesha, Juan Pedro Sanchez of Milwaukee and Dana Marie Sanchez of Waukesha. Beloved grandfather of Cameron Sanchez. He is further survived by his siblings Ursula Torres and Angelina Sanchez both of Philadelphia, PA, Juan Ramon and Thomasa Sanchez both of Humacao, Puerto Rico, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters. Visitation and Services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 9:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Avenue, Waukesha. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
