Dolores M. Brummond-Leroy

Dolores “Dee” M. Brummond-LeRoy, of Nashotah, formerly of Waukesha, died on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 89. She was born in Voorhies, Iowa on March 6, 1926 the daughter of Albert and Lydia (nee Lamprecht) Tetzner. She was a longtime employee of Wisconsin Bell where she retired as a clerical supervisor. Dee was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for 59 years. She was a nurturing person, with a caring heart who loved children and was passionate about childcare. She loved plants, shopping and cats and enjoyed traveling, going for long rides in the country, donating to St. Vincent de Paul and volunteering at the Waukesha Hope Center. Most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Ken LeRoy of Nashotah, her children, Bob (Kathryn) Brummond of Alexandria, VA and Chuck (Lynn) Brummond of Kewaskum, her daughter-in-law Jone Brady and her step-children, Bruce (Micki) LeRoy of Sheboygan Falls, Kathy (Dave) Godgluck of Hartland and Gary LeRoy of Hartland. She was the dear grandmother of Kristi (Florent) Malard of Appleton, Angela (Andy) David of West Bend, Alicia Cleveland of Waukesha, Rob (Mara) Brummond of Sussex, Bruce (Shelley) LeRoy of Sheboygan Falls, Katie LeRoy of Jacksonport, Lee (Bethanne) Godgluck of Merton, David Godgluck of Hartland and Matt Godgluck of Hartland and great-grandmother of Lavante, Camille, Ava, Andie, Sam, Carsyn, Lucas and Arliss. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Otto Brummond on January 14, 2001 and by her sister Verla Barnes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll Street, Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Kathy Boadwine will preside. Burial will be held at a later date at Howard Cemetery in Elma, Iowa.
