WAUKESHA—Dolores D. Vasilauskas, of Waukesha, died Monday, August 11, 2008 at LindenGrove Health Care Center in Waukesha at the age of 88. She was born on February 19, 1920 in Milwaukee, the daughter of George and Natalia (nee: Syperko) Lottermoser. She attended grade school at Grace Ev. Lutheran School and was a graduate of Bay View High School. She also attended secretarial courses at MATC in Milwaukee. She has been a member of Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church since 1959. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines Chorus Group. On February 17, 1968 she married Joseph Vasilauskas, who preceded her in death in 1995. For 28 years, she worked at First National Bank, retiring in 1985. She worked for the Waukesha Chamber of Commerce from 1953 until 1955. She was an avid knitter and gardener and was devoted to her family, church and home. She will be sadly missed by her children Ross Jabs of Waukesha, Lee (Jane) Jabs of Evansville, WI, William (Joan) Vasilauskas of Walnut Creek, CA, Gerald (Polly) Vasilauskas of Milwaukee and George (Yvonne) Vasilauskas of Oklahoma. She was a loving grandmother of 11 and a devoted great grandmother. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Emma Jabs of West Allis, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, sisters Natalie, Norma and Irene and brother Raymond “Bud” Lottermoser. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15 from 12:00 Noon until the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1941 Madison St. Waukesha, WI 53188. Memorials to the church, in Dolores’s name, are appreciated. A private entombment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery.
