Donna J. Gebhardt

Donna Josephine Gebhardt, a lifelong Waukesha resident, died on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at her home at the age of 95. She was born in Waukesha on November 15, 1916 the daughter of the late John and Mary (nee Weber) Gebhardt. Donna attended St. Joseph Grade School and then graduated from Waukesha High School. She lived on Whiterock Avenue for 55 years and has resided at Summit Woods for the past 15 years. Donna worked for Budzien’s Grocery Store and then at General Casting until her retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Donna was very involved in her nieces and nephews lives and will always be remembered as a very loving and special aunt.

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Betty Gebhardt of Waukesha, her nieces: Cheryl (Rick) Hurley of California, Mary (Larry) Drexler of Louisiana, Margaret (Paul) Parris of Oshkosh, Camille (Ed) Spurr of Maryland, Sherry (Tim) Babe of Delafield and Donna (Peter) Llanas of Waukesha, her nephews: Jack (Gayle) Rieber of Washington, Jack (the late Carolyn) Gebhardt of Brookfield, John (June) Morkin of Waukesha and Charley (Dawn) Morkin of Eagle. She is further survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Betty McMillan, Dorothy Rieber and Helen Morkin and her brother Jack Gebhardt.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Reed and Dr. Wassenaar and their staffs, to all the wonderful nurses and staff at the Waukesha Cancer Center, to Julie, Sandy and Melissa at Seasons Hospice for all there special care and to Camille Spurr for her dedication and care given to Donna over the past month.
