Doris I. Peter

Doris I. Peter of Waukesha died peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Elmbrook Hospital at the age of 96. She was born in Milwaukee on November 25, 1922 the daughter of Alvin and Adelle (nee Schmidt) Hundt. On August 25, 1943 she married Michael Peter Jr.; he preceded her in death on October 26, 1999. She was a longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Waukesha.
She will be sadly missed by her children Michael (Mary) Peter of Waukesha, John (Elizabeth) Peter of Glendale and Steven Peter of Colorado, her grandchildren, Charlene, Steve (Kim), Katy (Alex) and Molly and great-grandmother of Michael, Matthew, Angela, Daniel, Jennifer, David, Gina, Steven and Samuel. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Pastor Peter Schmidt will preside. Entombment will take place Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Please meet at the cemetery.
