Doris J. White, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her residence at Linden Ridge in Mukwonago at age 86. She was born in Waukesha on January 6, 1930 the daughter of Albert and Lucille (nee Whaples) Rupp. Doris worked for Waukesha Engine/Motorworks for many years. She was a longtime member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Doris was a huge Milwaukee Brewers fan and loved collecting the Brewers bobble-heads. She enjoyed traveling and taking bus trips and playing bingo and sheepshead. Most of all she loved being with her family and will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Kevin White and Alan (Jill) White both of Waukesha and her two granddaughters, Krista and Mandy White. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Ed Rachwal of Mukwonago along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William on February 8, 2002, her son Brian on May 20, 2012 and her brother Clarence (Marilyn) Rupp.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:30 a.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Lawrence Gates will preside. Graveside services will immediately follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
