Doris Grace Wilson, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Seasons Hospice surrounded by her family at the age of 92. She was born in Wales, WI on October 4, 1919 the daughter of the late John and Leah (nee Jones) Williams. On June 27, 1942 she married Clarence Wilson in Wild Rose, WI; he preceded her in death on January 15, 1995. Doris worked at the Ethan Allen School for Boys from 1959 until 1977 and also worked for Western States Envelope Factory for many years. She was a member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, was a 50-year member of the Waukesha Ladies Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #453 and was a longtime member of the Wales Fire Department Auxiliary. Doris loved to dance, enjoyed quilting and singing in the church choir. She will be sadly missed by her children: John “Jack” (Jane) Wilson of Menomonee Falls, Sandi (Bob) Vanderhei of Waukesha and Bob (the late Ginny) Wilson of North Prairie. She was the proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 14 and great-great-grandmother of 1. She is further survived by her nephew Charles “Chuck” (Connie) Ellis, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Clarence, she was preceded in death by her brother Jack Williams and her sisters, Annie Ellis and Ellen Mary DeStefano. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 4:00PM until the 6:45PM Eagles Auxiliary Service followed by the traditional funeral service all held at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Reverend Bill Petterson will preside. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 11:00AM at Salem Cemetery in Wales. Please meet at the funeral home at 10:15AM for the procession to the cemetery.
