Genesee Depot- Dorothy M. Butler age 89, died Wednesday, January 03, 2007 at her Genesee Depot home. She was born on July 18, 1917 in Milwaukee to Peter and Elsie (nee: Stauber) Weimer. She graduated from Mercy High School in Milwaukee in 1933. Dorothy lived on the Butler Farm on Depot Road following her marriage to Harry Joseph Butler at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Milwaukee on June 27, 1936. She has been a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church since 1936 where she was active and former President of the Christian Mothers. Dorothy was a member of the Waukesha Lodge of Elks #400 and a former member of the Waukesha Elks Ladies. She had worked at the Genesee State Bank in Genesee Depot for over 20 years. She retired in 1961. After retirement, she worked as the church secretary at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Genesee. She is survived by her children: Tom (Betsy) Butler of Hazelhurst, WI, Carol (Dick) Sickels of Genesee Depot, Jim (Companion Brian Cadeau) Butler of Mukwonago; grandchildren: Debbie (Scott) Swan of Nashotah, Greg (Sandy) Butler of Cedarburg, Pam (Bill) Whitstone of North Prairie and Jeff (Kathy) Sickels of Hartland; great-grandchildren: Zachary Swan, Stevie Rae Swan, Hannah Swan, Sydney Swan, Samuel Swan, Hallie Swan, Katie Whitstone, J.J. Whitstone, Leah Butler, Alyssa Butler, Tyler Sickels and Amber Sickels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1984, her brother Peter in 1995 and friend Ted Fillar in 2004. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. A Elk's Lodge of Sorrow service will be held at 7:30 PM. Visitation continues on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, in Genesee, Hwy 83 at Hwy D, from 9:30 A.M. until the 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass.
