Douglas A. Buhrow Sr.

Douglas Allen Buhrow Sr. of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the age of 58. Doug was born on March 9, 1958, in Waukesha, the son of Harvey and Dona Buhrow.
Doug is lovingly survived by his wife Peggy (nee Books) of 32 years, his children DJ (Erin) and Elisabeth, and grandson Andrew. He is further survived by his mother, Dona, and his brothers and sisters, Roland (Rene) Buhrow, Sheryl Ongstad, Bonnie (Gary) Wolf, and Janice (Tim) Anderson. He will also be missed by 3 brothers-in-law and 5 sisters-in-law, whom he loved and cherished. He will also leave behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Harvey Buhrow.
Doug devoted his life to serving God and was an active member of Waukesha First Assembly Church of Waukesha. He adored his family and spending time with his children, especially going on backpacking excursions with his son and passing on his vast array of knowledge to his daughter.
The visitation for Doug will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Waukesha First Assembly of God, 1314 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, with a service to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family and will be designated at a later date.
