Earl G Phillips

Earl G Phillips passed away in peace on December 6, 2024 after a valiant cancer battle. He and his family were so blessed to be under the extraordinary and compassionate care of Dr Ben George and his team in the Faith Clinic at the Froedtert Cancer Center.  

Earl was born on July 13, 1955 in Milwaukee. On February 15, 1975 he married the love of his life, the former Karen Rakowski.  

Earl worked for Butters Fetting Co. as a proud union sheet metal worker for many years before becoming a business representative for Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #18. He enthusiastically enjoyed golf and hunting, and had a passion for cooking the most amazing meals for his family and friends. 

Earl is survived by his devoted wife Karen, his son and best friend Bryan (Kathy Davis) Phillips of Cambridge, his sister Janice Memmel of Menomonee Falls, sisters-in-laws Judi Chandellor and Lisa Tritico of Austin, Texas, and Gail Ruggles of Racine, as well as his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.  

According to Earl’s wishes no formal services will be held.
