Eileen D. De Lellis, of Milwaukee, formerly of Waukesha, died on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at St. Anne’s in Milwaukee at the age of 91. She was born in Milwaukee on May 22, 1924 the daughter of John and Elizabeth (nee Passmann) Parks. On October 1, 1954 she married Victor De Lellis; he preceded her in death on January 18, 1994. Eileen was a former member of Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Waukesha for many years. She enjoyed reading, gardening and birdwatching, but most of all she loved being with her family. She will always be remembered as a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Joanne (Jane Kostecki) Sznaider and Susan De Lellis both of Wauwatosa and her grandsons Colin and Ian Sznaider. She is further survived by her sister Lorraine (the late George) Starcic of Brookfield along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 4 PM until the time of the 5 PM memorial service at St. Anne’s Chapel, 3800 N. 92nd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222. Private interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Association SE WI Chapter, 620 S. 76th Street, Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214 or to the Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186.
