Eileen Rose Muehlbauer, of Waukesha, WI and Ocala, FL, died on Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Waukesha at the age of 88. She was born in Spearville, Kansas on May 7, 1927 the daughter of Charles and Helen (nee Fox) Berend. On September 16, 1946 she married John Muehlbauer; he preceded her in death in 2002. Following their retirement in 1978 they moved Florida. After moving to Florida, Eileen enjoyed golfing and belonged to several golf leagues. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala, FL.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Michael (Sharon) Muehlbauer of Waukesha, Nancy (John) Ritter of Waukesha, David (Pamela) Muehlbauer of Waukesha, Roger (Debby) Muehlbauer of Palmyra and close friend Bill Cashman. She was the dear grandmother of Angela (Steve Henderleiter) Ritter, Jennifer Ott, Amy (John Schultz) Muehlbauer, Brian Ritter, Stephanie (Keith Corey) Muehlbauer, John (Patrizia) Muehlbauer, Richard Tio, David (Marilka) Muehlbauer, Vincent (Loni) Muehlbauer, Kyle (Samantha) Muehlbauer and great-grandmother of Evan, Emma, Luca, Nico and Lea. She is further survived by her sisters and brother, Jane McKenzie, Luwyna Reekie, Elfrieda McCallion and Vincent (Anna) Berend along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Father Howard Haase will preside. Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens in Ocala, FL. Memorials are appreciated to the charity of the donor’s choice.
