Eleanor A. Jahnke of Waukesha, passed away on Friday September 6,2024 at the age of 91 years. She was born in Milwaukee on June 6,1933 to Waldemar and Dorothea (nee: Schuman) Schultz. On March 24,1956 she married John W. Jahnke, he preceded her in death on March 2, 2022. Together, she and John were faithful members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and raised 5 children. Eleanor enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, and attending the theater and sewing costumes for Waukesha Civic Theatre, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is lovingly survived by her children: Jean Bernicky, Anne (Michael Hein) Foti, Bonnie Kralovec, John Jahnke, and proud grandmother to Jessie (Matt) Ripplinger, Coleen (Ed) Michaelis, Justin (Phoung) Petersen, Tyler (Jackie) Foti, Michael (Jen) Foti, Lindsay (Brad) Blersch, Evan and Mason Kralovec, special great grandmother to JJ and Jaxon Ripplinger; Sal, Ady and Sofia Foti; Leo and Brooks Blersch and Lincoln and Harris Petersen.
In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her daughter Barby Jo Petersen, grandsons Jacob Meehean and Zach Petersen and her twin sister Elaine Steltz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha from 5:00 PM until the 6:30 PM service. Interment will be Saturday 10:00 AM at Prairie Home Cemetery.
