Eleanor Williams

Waukesha-Eleanor K. Williams, 88, of Waukesha, died on December 21, 2006 at Angels Grace Hospice. She was born in Bay View, Wisconsin on Feb 28, 1918 to William and Emma (nee: Collins) Kriese. Eleanor was a 1936 graduate of Bay View High School. On April 2, 1938 she married Donald Williams. She had worked as a hardware sales person at Sears and Roebuck in Waukesha until the Waukesha store closed in 1981. She was very involved at First Presbyterian Church in Waukesha where she was recently recognized for her faithful 60 year membership. Always willing to volunteer was a way of life for Eleanor. She had volunteered extensively at The Caring Place and always had time to knit hats for the new born babies at the hospital, and to never let the mitten trees get too bare. She was a member of the Practical Club in Waukesha. She will be sadly missed by her daughters Shirley (John) Priefer of Conover, Wisconsin, and Judy (Paul) Majerle of Weston, WI, grandchildren: Nancy (Matt) Giovanelli of Wauwatosa, Sue (Daryl) Castona of Madison, John D. (Wendy McCormick) Priefer of Eagle River, Wisconsin, Lee Ann (Bill) Kitchell of Hatley, Wisconsin, Lisa (Brian) Johnson of Gadsden, Alabama, Cindy (Greg) Weiss of Forest Lake, Minnesota, great-grandchildren: Kendra Peelen of Waukesha, Nate and Gabi Kitchell of Hatley, Wisconsin, Nicholas, Timothy, and Natalie Johnson of Gadsden, Alabama, and Anna and Bethany Weiss of Forest Lake, Minnesota. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Doris Davies of Waukesha, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald H. Williams September 27, 1980, and her brothers William and Edward Kriese. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday December 23, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church, Waukesha. Fellowship and visiting will follow the service. Private graveside services will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to First Presbyterian Church 810 N.
