Elizabeth Ann Malm

April 3, 1920 — August 12, 2007

Elizabeth A. Malm, age 87 of Waukesha, died on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Heartland of Pewaukee. She was born on April 3, 1920 in Stevens Point, WI, the daughter of Maurice and Mary (nee: Pieckert) Hannon. In 1941, she graduated Salutatorian from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a degree in History. Elizabeth married Robert Malm on February 14, 1947. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waukesha since 1963. She played an active leadership role in Girl Scouting throughout her life and touched the lives of many young women. She was an active member of the Waukesha Elk Ladies, serving on many of their committees. She enjoyed spending time as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and Retzer Nature Center. She was instrumental in creating a number of cookbooks for The Waukesha Elks Lodge #400, and the Apple Cookbook for the Friends of Retzer. Her unique sense of humor and wonderful stories will be remembered by her many friends. Elizabeth "Betty" will be sadly missed by her husband, Bob of Waukesha; daughter, Mary Beth (Charles Krucky) Malm of Milwaukee; sons: Bruce Malm of Los Angeles, and David (Lori) Malm of Green Bay; grandson, Andrew Malm of Waukesha; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Terry in 1959; 2 brothers, Joseph Hannon and Maurice Hannon, Jr., and her parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Vigil Services will be held at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 225 N. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Burial will take place on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM at St. Stephens Catholic Cemetery in Stevens Point. Please meet at the cemetery.
