Elmer Scheets

Elmer F. Scheets, longtime Waukesha resident, died on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at LindenGrove in Waukesha at the age of 83. He was born in the town of Brookfield on November 21, 1927 one of three sons of the late Ervin W. and Emma (nee Brunner) Scheets. Elmer was employed by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Elm Grove for over 30 years as a maintenance worker. In 1975 he married Margaret “Rosie” Krug; she preceded him in death on June 4, 1998. Elmer was a faithful member of St. William Catholic Church in Waukesha for many years.  He will be sadly missed by his brother Ervin G. Scheets of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife Margaret, he was preceded in death by his brother John and sisters-in law Violet Scheets and Lois Scheets.  Visitation will be held at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, on Thursday, June 30, 2011 from 9:00AM until the 10:00AM funeral Mass. Father Curt Frederick will preside. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
