Emily Grace Calvert

With deepest sorrow, we share that Emily Grace Calvert, age 13, our most beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend passed suddenly on Saturday, May 25th, 2019, from her short but brave battle with Leukemia.

Beloved daughter to William Calvert and Sarah and Brad Zlensky. Loving sister to Jacob and Norah. Adored granddaughter to Walter and Mary Maier, Angela Calvert, and Gerald and Janice Calvert. Dear niece to Jesse and Lisa Maier, Maria and Mark Zingler, Beth and John Edwards, and Kristine and Christopher Guenther. Special cousin to Amelia, Luke, Michaela, Max, Dylan, Jack, Joseph, and Kallie. Emily was lovingly cared for during her brief illness by Bonnie Schams, her step-grandmother and Pam Ertl, her great aunt.

Emily had many interests, including a passion for Girl Scouts. She will be greatly missed by her Girl Scout Troop 4582. She also loved aerial gymnastics, volunteering, and singing in her school chorus. She found much joy in helping others and volunteering at Girl Scout camp and Camp Vertical & Zoom every summer. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and classmates.

A celebration of Emily's life will be held on Saturday, June 1st at Elmbrook Church, 777 S Barker Road, Brookfield. Visitation will be held from 11am to 2pm, with a service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Emily's family are greatly appreciated. With this being a celebration of all the joy Emily has brought into our lives; the family is encouraging attendees to wear bright colors. If you need some inspiration, pink was Emily's favorite.
