Ernest L. Kuepfer, 81, of Waukesha, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at Life Care Hospital. He was born in Milwaukee the only child to Ernst and Louise (nee: Krause) Kuepfer. Ernest was a proud Veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific for the United States Marine Corps. He was a proud reciepient of two purple hearts. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, D.J. Martin Post #8; Soat ?Vergenz VFW Post 721 and the Waukesha Co. Marine Corps League. He was retired from Rasmussen Industrial Supply of Milwaukee where he had worked as an Industrial Salesman. He was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley (neel Zych) Kuepfer of Waukesha. He was the proud father of six daughters: Kathleen (Richard) McIlveen of Pewaukee; Mary (Thomas) Rehrauer of Manitowoc; Genevieve Kuepfer of Greely, CO ; Linda (Richard) Mollet of Sussex; Christine Kuepfer of Everett, WA; Victoria (Philip) Oresick of Waukesha; and the special grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
