Esmeralda "Mary" G. Hernandez

Esmeralda “Mary” G. Hernandez passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 68. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 5, 1949 the daughter of Adolf and Adele (nee Martinez) Garcia. Mary had a zest for life and lived life to the fullest. She was always the life of the party and her great sense of humor could make anyone laugh. She had a generous heart, often putting others before herself and always helping anyone in need. Mary cherished her family and especially loved to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her three children, Michael Muniz of Milwaukee, Michelle Muniz of Chicago and Crystal King of Florida and their father John Hernandez of Waukesha. She was the proud grandmother of Emerald and Jeffrey Ortiz and great-grandmother of Peyton Mahler and Keegan Muniz Petersen. She is further survived by her brothers Joe (Luz) Hinojosa and Henry (Martha) Rivera along with many nieces and nephews who were very dear to Mary, other relatives and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the 6:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha.
