Eugene "Gene" Kline

Eugene J. “Gene” Kline of Waukesha, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at LindenGrove Waukesha at the age of 80.  He was born on February 21, 1929 in Waukesha, the son of Ernest Kline and Violet Kline Leipske.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952.  On November 22, 1954, Gene was united in marriage to Constance “Connie” Brehm in Dubuque, Iowa.  He later was employed for Waukesha Rubber Company for over 35 years until retirement.  Gene enjoyed playing pool and cards, but most of all he loved being a grandpa.  He will be fondly remembered for his unique sense of humor.   Gene will be deeply missed by wife of 54 years, Connie of Waukesha; children:  Jerry (Kay) Kline of Waukesha, Larry (Lisa) Kline of Hartford, WI, Terry Kline of Stafford, VA, Jean (Rick) Gomez of Sierra Vista, AZ, Julie (Craig) Moser of Waukesha, and Ken (Christine) Kline of Palm Harbor, FL; grandchildren:  Patti Ann Kline, Adam (fiancée Lindsay) Kline, Kellie Kline, Sarah (Caleb) Gibson, Rachel and Ricky Gomez, Natalie and Nicole Moser, and Courtney Kline; great-grandchildren:  Jaydon and Lauren Gibson; sisters:  Beverly Ward of AZ, Marilyn (Richard) Singsime of Helenville, WI, and Sharon Drews of Watertown, WI.  He is preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Kline in 2008; sister, Betty Weissman; and his parents.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2009 from 1:00 PM until the 4:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
