Eunice G. Anderson

Eunice G. Anderson, of Waukesha, formerly of Janesville, died on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 97 years. She was born in Racine on May 8, 1916 the daughter of Gerald and Christine (nee Johnson) Geraldson. On February 20, 1943 she married John G. Anderson in Colorado Springs, CO. She worked as an English teacher for many years at Craig High School in Janesville. Eunice was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church in Janesville where she was active in the Lay Witness Missions with her husband. She was also a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (PEO) and American Association of University Women (AAUW). Eunice enjoyed reading, baking, playing games, going up north and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Kristine (John) Voss of Gottenberg, Sweden, John (Debbie) Anderson of Oshkosh and Mark (Diana) Anderson of Waukesha, her grandchildren, Jonathan (Ali) Voss, Daniel Voss, Tina (Philip) Flygare, Anders Voss, Emily (Greg) Collins, Kristin, James, and Justin Anderson, Eric Anderson, Ellen (Kyle) Braband, Susan (Ryan) Prager and Lauren Anderson and her great-grandchildren, Elsa, Sophia, Anders, Nils, Hope, Ellie, Bailey, Owen and Matthew. She is further survived by her brother David (Velma) Geraldson of Waukesha and her sister-in-law Jay (Gerald) Geraldson of Waukesha along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, sister Mildred Campbell, and brothers Raymond and Gerald.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 9:30AM until the 10:30AM funeral service at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Interment will be held on Thursday at 3:30PM in the Oak Hill Cemetery, 1725 N. Washington Street, Janesville, WI 53548. Please meet at the cemetery.
