Eva Woodin of Waukesha, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at St. Anne’s Salvatorian in Milwaukee at the age of 93. She was born on December 14, 1916 in Urey, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Wasyl and Anastazija (Pohlid) Lazeration. On December 22, 1943, Eva was united in marriage to Phillip Woodin; he preceded her in death in 2007. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. She was a member of First Congregational Church in Waukesha for 53 years, and was also a member of the Lady Elks. Eva will be deeply missed by her children: Charles (Marli) Woodin of Big Bend and Sharon (Ronald) Kundinger of Brown Deer; grandchildren: Perry (Laura Welles) Woodin of New York, Emily McDonald of Waukesha, Kevin (Rachel) Kundinger of Arizona, and Amy Kundinger of Brown Deer; great-grandchild, Haley McDonald; brother, George (Betty) Lazeration of Pennsylvania; and sister Irene Kraynak of Ohio. She is further survived by her special nephew, Bill (Lois) Lazeration of Mauston, and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters, and her parents. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 10:30 AM until the 11:00 AM memorial service at Prairie Home Cemetery Chapel, Waukesha, followed by graveside services with full military honors.
