Evelyn E. Golemgeske, of Waukesha, entered eternal life Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 91. She was born on January 10, 1919 in Waukesha, the daughter of John and Minnie (nee: Brandt) Deck. Evelyn owned and operated the Skyway Restaurant near the Waukesha Airport for many years. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas, playing bridge and was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packer fan. She hosted bridge games in her home 2-3 times a week for more than 25 years and was a lifelong member of Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ. She was the loving mother of Terry (Marna) Golemgeske of Waukesha and Cindi (Roger) Wiles of Peoria, Az. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Randy (Debbie) Hinkes, Lori (Brian) Menzel, Lisa (Frank) Knoll, Tim Hinkes, Wendie (Michael) Evans, her 7 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Heather, Michelle, Jacob, Helina, Joshua and Jackson, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her sister Janet Niedermeier and her grandson Steven Hinkes. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. funeral service on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
