Fidencio “Chief” F. Jauregui, Sr, age 71, died at his home on August 3, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1951 to Pete and Maria (Linarez) Jauregui. Fidencio will be remembered for his love of all sports, but especially watching the Green Bay Packers. He was a “go-getter” enjoying trips to the casino and playing an occasional prank or joke. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who he often referred to them as his little people.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Ramon Jauregui, Melissa (Enrique) Cortinas, Fidencio Jauregui Jr., Don (Missy) Jauregui, Leticia (Victor) Martinez; grandchildren, Alyssa Henson, Izaya Jauregui, Raul Jauregui, Jocelyn Cortinas, Justina (Gilbert IV) Cortinas, Jesus Cortinas Jr., Benicio Cortinas, Alex Jauregui , Madelyn Jauregui, Azrael, Azalea, Isabella, Ismeal, Xavier Martinez; great grandchildren, Kiana and Leonardo Espinal, Clementyne, Ethan, Gilbert V and Paxton Perez, Ilias and Mila Jauregui and NaiLani Johnson. He is further survived by his siblings, Roger (Mary) Jauregui, Johnny Jauregui, Betty (Renee) Salinas, Joe (Olivia) Jauregui, Mary Jane (Henry) Gonzales, Pauline Patlan and sister-in-law Connie Jauregui, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Jesse Jauregui and Danny (Rosa) Jauregui and grandson Dante Jauregui.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave from 2:00 PM until the family Eulogy at 6:00 PM.
