Flora M. Esser

Flora M. Esser, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at LindenGrove Health Care Center in New Berlin at the age of 94. She was born on April 13, 1921, in Waukesha, to Cristofaro and Filomena (nee Mattarocci) Forte. She was a 1941 graduate of Waukesha High School. On January 29, 1944 she married Andrew Esser. She has been a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Christian Women and St. Joseph Elders.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Clarice (Richard) Lyles of New Berlin along with her grandchildren Laura (Charles) McDaniel of Milwaukee, Susanne (Thomas) Pollen of Milwaukee and Michelle (Angelito) Santos of New Berlin. Dear great-grandmother of Alexis, Anthony, Alyssa, Franchesica, Joshua, Noel, Max and Jenny Ann and great-great-grandmother of Kasey, Jamie, Lotus, Tyler and Autumn. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, on May 12, 2002, and her sisters Helen Forte, Elvira Calvano and Mary Moretti and brothers Daniel, Dominic, Edward, John and Tony Forte.

The family wishes to thank all the Dr’s., nurses and staff at LindenGrove-New Berlin for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 4 from 11:00 AM until the funeral Mass at 12:00 PM all at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 N. East Ave. Waukesha, WI 53186. Graveside services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association, 375 Bishops Way Suite 220, Brookfield, WI 53005.
