Florencio "Lencho" Garcia

Florencio "Lencho" Garcia, of Waukesha, died on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family at the age of 79. He was born in Matehuala, SLP, Mexico on September 23, 1943, the son of Ricardo and Paula (nee Rodriguez) Garcia. He was very proud of his Mexican heritage and enjoyed visiting family back home in Mexico. He enjoyed watching comedies, classic movies and loved America, especially Waukesha...and his pan dulce! He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Maria (nee Briones) along with their children Benessa (Jorge) Barreiro, Veronica Garcia, Ricardo Garcia and Rodolfo (Lucy) Garcia. Proud grandfather of Julian, Jorge Jr., Julissa, Emilio, Jesse, Antonio, Rico, Maia, Javier, Paulina, Rudy, Emarie and Rodrigo and great-grandfather of Janessa. He is further survived by his brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Maria, brothers Teodoro and Herman and his Tio Ciro (Rodriguez).

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha. A private burial will be held.
