Frank Ellsworth Lockerby of Waukesha, WI passed away on April 16, 2024 from an acute illness at the age of 74. He leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Cindi Lockerby, sons Dustin and Drew (Sami) Lockerby and grandsons Joey and Jay Jay.
Frank was born November 30, 1949 to Jay and Marian Lockerby in Red Wing, MN and grew up in Salem, Oregon.
Frank proudly enlisted and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Upon completion of his service, Frank attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout where he graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He enjoyed a successful career working in food and chocolate manufacturing for 36 years, retiring from Ambrosia Chocolate/ADM Cocoa.
Frank loved spending time with his friends and family. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, gardening, a nice glass of bourbon, a game of euchre and a good meal. His greatest joy was his family and two grandsons.
In addition to his immediate family, Frank is survived by his brother Hugh (Diana) Lockerby, sister-in-law Kalo Lockerby, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends that he loved deeply.
A visitation will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 424 Hyde Park Ave., Waukesha, 53188 on Wednesday, April 24th beginning at 10:00 a.m. with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. A continued celebration of Frank’s life will follow the service and be announced at church. If desired, memorials are appreciated to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
