Frederick W. Sherman

Frederick Walter Sherman passed away at Waukesha Memorial Hospital Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the age of 76. He was born March 18, 1947, the son of Frederick P. and Elvera (nee: Heller) Sherman. After high school on January 5, 1967, he joined the Army. During his time in the Army, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal, and served his country for four years. After he was discharged, he earned his associate degree and went on to work as a CNC operator. In his later years Frederick enjoyed spending his time at the VA wood shop. He also enjoyed going to the West Allis farmers and photography, mostly photographing flowers.

He will be sadly missed by his niece Michele Grouse, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mardeen E. Greenwood, Dorothy A. Oblamski and Randy Sherman.

Inurnment will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
