Gail Lorraine Prelozni

Gail Lorraine Prelozni, age 88, of Waukesha died November 17, 2013 at Autumn Bay in Pewaukee with her family by her side. She was born March 22, 1925 in Pershing Iowa, the daughter of Cecil Arthur and Charlotte Mae (nee: Brink) Bridges. She was a graduate of Attica High School in Iowa. On May 24, 1947 she married John J. Prelozni in Waukesha. Gail and John along with Bill and Darlene Harding owned and operated the Main Way Market in Waukesha for many years. Gail was also an employee of Amron and worked in the admitting department at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She was a longtime and very active member of Westbrooke Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday school and served as the church Secretary. After the Church closed she attended RiverGlen Christian Church with her family.

She was the dear mother of: Brian (Bonita) Prelozni of Waukesha, Jan DeBrozzo of Hartland, and Charlotte (Randy) Forseth of Waukesha. Proud grandmother of Tamara (Christopher) Kilian of Menomonee Falls, Elizabeth Smith (Fiancée Nicholas Graeffe) of Waukesha, Jake Forseth of Nashotah, and Joshua (Meghan) Forseth of Chicago,and great grandmother to: Matthew, Courtney, Alysa, Ashley, and Abigail. Dear sister to: William (Joann) Bridges of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Darlene (The late William) Harding of Palmyra, and Shirley Bridges of Brookfield. She was the beloved sister-in-law to: Mary Ann (The late Robert) Crossman, Joanne (Jack) Williams, Mary Prelozni, Joan Prelozni, and Henry Prelozni. She is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. In addition to her husband John J. she was preceded in death by her grandson Steven DeBrozzo, brothers-in-law: Steven Prelozni, Alexander Prelozni, and Anthony Prelozni, and sisters-in-law: Lillian Prelozni, Josephine Prelozni, and Marion Prelozni.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 4:00 PM until the funeral service at 7:00 PM at RiverGlen Christian Church S31 W30601 Sunset Dr., Waukesha, WI 53189. Graveside services will be the following afternoon Friday November 22, 2013 at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin at 2:00 PM. Please meet at the cemetery office.
