Georgia D. Armour, of Mukwonago, a Waukesha resident from 1960 to 2008, passed away peacefully following a long illness on May 20, 2012 at the age of 77. She was born on February 16, 1935 in Clayton, NM the daughter of James and Eula (nee Spurgeon) Holland. On May 5, 1956 she married Allen Armour, her beloved husband of 56 years. Georgia was a long time employee of Carroll (College) University, working within the food service department. As a proud member since 1962 of The First Congregational Church, she served in various roles. She was a member of the Pricilla Circle where she took an active roll until her health diminished, preventing her from participating in the activities she enjoyed. Georgia will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Allen of Mukwonago. She was a loving mother to Keith (Lori) Armour of The Hills, TX, Dale (Dana) Armour of Vernon, WI and Cheryl (David) DeShambo of Waukesha. Proud grandmother of Samantha Armour, Aaron Armour and Daniel DeShambo. She is further survived by her sisters-in-law Virginia Armour, Carol Armour and Evalyn Langworthy, brother-in-law Rollo Armour as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Glen Burris, and brother James Holland. A private family service will be held at Georgia’s request. Public reception will take place on Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 5 PM until 7 PM at The First United Congregational Church, 100 East Broadway, Waukesha, WI 53186.
