Gerald J. Herrmann

December 19, 1925 — January 29, 2018

Gerald J. Herrmann, 92, of Genesee Depot, passed away peacefully Monday, January 29, 2018 at Kensington Care and Rehab, after several bouts with pneumonia. He was born on December 19, 1925, in Illinois. Jerry lived a very full life, he was a 1944 graduate of Waukesha High School, had been the farm boss while working at Brookhill Farms, and retired in 1991 from Citizens Bank of Mukwonago where he served as president. He enjoyed collecting model trains, reading, cross country skiing, collecting John Deere tractors, bicycling, and most of all dancing with his many friends.
He will be sadly missed by his children Carl Herrmann of Genesee Depot, Kurt Herrmann of Genesee Depot, and Jane Herrmann of Wales. He is further survived by his ex-wife Isabelle, his grand-fur-babies, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Anna, his birth mother Loretta Hartmann, and his brothers Ruben, Harvey and Howard.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. funeral Mass all at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Wern Way, Waukesha, WI 53189. (Corner of Highways D & Hwy 83). Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paul Catholic Church (address above) or HAWS 701 Northview Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
