Gerald “Jerry” A. Reichow, of Dousman, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his home at the age of 79. He was born in Milwaukee on August 1, 1936 the son of George and Alice (nee Rozga) Reichow. On June 27, 1959 he married Judith “Judy” Hopefl at Mother of Good Counsel Parish. Jerry worked as the Vice President of International Sales for Giddings & Lewis for more than 30 years. He loved building and flying model airplanes and was a member of the Lakeland R-C Club. Jerry enjoyed playing the pipe organ, baking bread and photography but most of all he enjoyed being with his family. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Genesee Depot.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 57 years, Judy of Dousman and their children, Jim (Teresa) Reichow of West Allis, Jill (Steve) Bevers of Cedarburg, Joanne (the late Jeff) Bishop of Copley, OH and John (Jennifer) Reichow of Pickerington, OH, his grandchildren, Rebecca Koier, Samantha Brazee, Adam Reichow, A. Ryan Reichow, Andrew Reichow, Sam (fiancée Brianna Waterman) Bevers, Noah Bevers, Hannah Bevers, Alexander (Rachael) Bishop, Emma Bishop, Erin (Allen) Sabin, Abbey Reichow and Ryan Reichow and great-grandchildren Braylee Bevers, Luke Bevers and Chloe Sabin. He is further survived by his sister Mary (Geoff Hermsen) Sullivan of Milwaukee along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Hwy D, Genesee Depot, WI 53127 (Corner of Hwy 83 & D).
