Gerald D. “Jerry” Ross, of Waukesha, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 unexpectedly while on vacation in Vicksburg, Mississippi at the age of 65. He was born on June 28, 1943 in Milwaukee. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1962 to 1965. On June 13, 1964, Jerry married Pamela Weiss at St. Agnes Church in Bulter, WI. He owned and operated 4-Ever-Warm in Waukesha until retiring in 1990. He also worked for Falk as a carpenter. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed metal detecting, gambling, traveling, and had become a local artist and instructor. He was an outstanding and proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Jerry will be sadly missed by his best friend, soul mate, and wife, Pamela of Waukesha; three children: Vicky (Jeff) Czarnecki of Waukesha, Tammy (Mike) Kordasiewicz of Wind Lake, and Gerald John Ross of Waukesha; four grandchildren: Michael and Emma Kordasiewicz of Wind Lake, Jennifer (Miguel) Romero of West Allis, and Jessica Czarnecki of Milwaukee; 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 4:00 PM until the 8:00 PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI. Casual attire required. Military honors will be presented following the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
