Geraldine Luterbach, of Waukesha County, was born to Eternal life on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Merrill Hills Manor surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85 years. She was born in Hewitt, Wisconsin on September 1, 1927 the daughter of Leonard and Regina (nee Durst) Zenner. Geraldine and her husband John are co-founders and co-owners of Ace-Redi Mix and John Luterbach Builder Inc. As a devout Catholic she was very strong in her faith and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Geraldine loved birds, dancing, painting, flowers, cooking and loved holidays, especially Christmas. Most of all, her greatest joy and love was for her family. She will be greatly missed.
She was the loving and devoted wife of John Luterbach for 65 years. They were blessed with eight children: Leon (the late Carol) Luterbach, Christine (Mike) Hodgden, Gary (Kelli) Luterbach, Jeannine (Michael) Rhyner, Alan (Carol) Luterbach, Dale Luterbach, Neal (Kristin) Luterbach and Regine “Tutti” (Jerry Knapp) Luterbach. She was the dear grandmother of Darren, Laura (Charlie), Michelle (Steve), Christopher (Michele), Steven (Heidi), Daniel (Jodi), Sammy, Jon (Gina), Katie (Brett), Molly, John, Jessica (Austin), Stacey, Doug, Leslie, Emma, Erin, Josh, Anna and Sadie and the special great-grandmother of Keegan, Julia, Rachel, Nathan, Kenzie, Fischer, Nolan, Jace, Makaylah, Makenna, Jameson, Owen and Haley along with one dear great-great-grandchild Bentli. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Reginald Zenner and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 9:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, S38 W31602 Hwy D (Corner of Hwy D & Hwy 83), Genesee Depot, WI 53127. Father Mark Molling will preside. Graveside services will immediately follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery. If desired, memorials are appreciated for Masses in Geraldine’s name at St. Paul Catholic Church, to the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, 620 S. 76th Street Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
