Gilbert Zuniga of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2017 at the age of 73 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 8, 1943 the son of Leopold and Ramona (nee Salazar) Zuniga. He worked for Wisconsin Centrifugal from March 2, 1970 until he retired July 6, 2010.
He is survived by his beloved children Gilbert (Jennifer) Zuniga Jr. of Delafield, Rachel (Brian) O' Brien of Waukesha, Joel (Ruby) Zuniga of Oconomowoc, and Steven (Breanny) Zuniga of Sullivan. Further survived by his siblings, Maria Alvisa Arriola of Blytheville, AK, Joe (Esperanza) Zuniga of Holland, MI and Noelia (the late Isabel Segovia) of Holland, MI along with 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leopold Zuniga Jr. and sisters Juana Zuniga and Evangelina (the late Magdaleno) Vasquez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
