Glenda F. Meyers

Glenda F. Meyers of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 71. She was born in North Carolina on September 21, 1945 the daughter of James and Rosa Grice. On June 24, 1970, she married David Meyers. Glenda worked as a nurse’s aide for many years at the Northview Home, Avalon Square and LindenGrove. She was a huge Elvis fan, was an excellent cook and was always very crafty.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, David of Waukesha, her son Jim Meyers (Richelle), step-son David Meyers, step-daughter Donna (David) Wojiak, grandchildren Samantha, James and Billy Meyers and great-grandchildren Connor Coates and Chase Meyers. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Debbie Basinger, Brenda Cribb, Bobby Grice, James (Karen) Grice and Diane Stahl along with many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Billy Meyers on January 16, 2014.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 6:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family.
