Glenn W. Boyd of Panana City Beach, FL, formerly of Waukesha, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 56. He was born on October 1, 1953 in Waukesha, the son of Wallace and Mildred (Seegers) Boyd. Glenn proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam, and continued his service for the next 12 years with the 128th Air Refueling Wing in Milwaukee. Glenn was united in marriage to Carmen Doblado Bernal on March 7, 1975 in Seville, Spain. After working with his father at Boyd Excavating and Grading for many years, Glenn and his brother John became owners and continued the family business. Upon retiring almost 10 years ago, he and his wife moved to Florida where they currently resided. He was an avid Packer fan, and enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Glenn will be deeply missed by his wife, Carmen; his children; Jason (Heather) Boyd of Mukwonago, and Laura (Kevin) Grossklaus of Pewaukee; grandchildren: Kylee, Jake, Isabella, Hunter, Carter, and Miles; and his brothers: Harlan (Sue) Boyd, John (Marti) Boyd, and Gary (Kathy) Boyd, all of Waukesha. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family in Spain, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 4:00 PM until the 7:30 PM prayer service, followed by full military honors, at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha, WI.
