Glenn W. Tucker, a longtime Waukesha resident, died on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Waukesha Springs at the age of 83. He was born in Waukesha on July 5, 1929 the only child of Glenn W. and Vera (nee Ryson) Tucker. He was a 1947 graduate of Waukesha High School and went on to graduate from UW-Platteville. For more than 42 years, Glenn worked as a surveyor for Ruekert-Mielke. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church where he served as Head Usher. Glenn loved to take pictures, enjoyed taking care of his yard and was an avid fisherman.
He will be sadly missed by his son Gregg Tucker of Waukesha, his two-granddaughters Danielle Tucker of Milwaukee and Courtney Tucker of Waukesha, his fiancée Marge Kadrich of Waukesha and her four sons and their families: Chris (Tina) Kadrich of Waukesha, Todd (Peggy) Kadrich of Vernon, Michael Kadrich of Delavan and Kyle Kadrich of Waukesha. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 1998 as well as by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 10:00AM until the 12:00 Noon funeral service at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Reverend Dan Schwerin will preside. Entombment will be held on Monday, December 24, 2012 at 10:00AM at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office.
