Gloria (Nee Hernandez)

Gloria Saenz, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Seasons Hospice at the age of 70. She was born in Waukesha on December 17, 1940 the daughter of Sacarias and Jean (nee Vasquez) Hernandez. She married Samuel H. “Sam” Saenz on November 24, 1961 in Waukesha; he recently preceded her in death on August 18, 2011. Gloria was a good-hearted, hardworking, and dedicated woman who cared and prayed for everyone always putting everyone before herself. Her children were very proud to share her with everyone. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.  She will be deeply missed by her children: Rosario Saenz of San Antonio, TX, Julie Ann Saenz Ahmadi of Austin, TX, Henrietta (David) Long of Waukesha, Eleanor (Dale) Solon of Brookfield, Robert (Debra Parker) Saenz of Milwaukee and Christopher Saenz of Waukesha, her grandchildren: Jesse and Danielle Neito of San Antonio, TX, Rodolfo, Michelle, and Fouad Flores, Shawn (Rebecca) Al-Bannay and Hady Mawajdeh all of Austin, TX, Jennifer (Bryan) Williams of Virginia, Ryan, Peter (Krystal Dombrowski Jimenez) and Samantha Long all of Waukesha, Shajuan and Marvin May, Josh and Nicole Parker all of Milwaukee, and Kimberlie and Jordan Saenz of Waukesha, great-grandchildren: Alexandra Flores, Amelia Al-Bannay, Jasmyne Jimenez Long, Evan Williams, and Jayden, Jacobi and Isabella Parker. She is further survived her brothers: Peter (Roxanne) Hernandez of Waukesha, Paul (Diane Hughes) Hernandez of Waukesha, and Ray (Karen) Martinez of North Carolina, her sister: Mary Mendez of Waukesha, nephew Neal (Brydie) Hernandez of Jackson, sisters-in-law Nancy Hernandez of Waukesha and Mary Ramos of Texas along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband Sam, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert Hernandez, brothers-in-law: Ben Gallardo and Trino Ramos, sister-in-law Celia Gallardo and her parents Sacarias Hernandez, Jean Hernandez Martinez and Simon Martinez.
