On December 15th, 2018 the world lost a wonderful man. Gordon “Gordy” R. Caucutt of Waukesha died at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. He was born in Hillsboro on December 24, 1947 the son of Arwin and Ruby (nee Sneath) Caucutt. On April 6, 1968 he married Elizabeth “Liz” Forkes at St. Luke Catholic Church in Brookfield. Gordy enjoyed watching the Brewers and Packers. In his younger years he was a marathoner, enjoyed running and playing softball. He worked for 42 years at Waukesha Electric/SPX, retiring in 2014. Gordy was an avid golfer and Harley Davidson rider, was a lover of Jack Daniels and good beer and especially loved being with his family.
He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 50 years, Liz of Waukesha and their loving daughters, Michelle Caucutt-Gasser of Waukesha and Cori (Tim) Denk of Columbus, WI and his cherished grandchildren, Alix (fiancé Kyle Klitzing) Caucutt, Dani Gasser, Cale Denk and Zoe Denk and great-grandchild, Riley. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law Jerry Curtis and John (Beth) Forkes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and had many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Charlene Curtis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 9:00 am until the memorial service which will be held at 12:00 noon at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Gordy’s name are appreciated to the charity of your choice.
