Grace C. Fahrenkrug, 95, longtime resident of Neenah, died on Friday December 18, 2009 at her home. She was born May 15, 1914, the youngest daughter of Harry and Amelia (nee: Luchow) Dix. She was a 1932 graduate of Appleton High School. On November 12, 1935 she married Albert Fahrenkrug. Grace and Al lived in Neenah and were members of Trinity Lutheran Church since their marriage. Al preceded Grace in death on January 26, 1986. For the last four years, Grace has resided at Island Shores in Neenah where she enjoyed Friday night bingo. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her spunk and strong will Grace will be sadly missed by her two nieces and one nephew: Susan (Dr. Jack) Brueckner of Waupaca; Paula (the late Kenneth) Yatchak of Green Bay; Rick (Lil) Fahrenkrug of Neenah. She is further survived by her great nieces and nephews: Jennifer (Thomas) Mladucky of Appleton; Cathleen (Lee) Brisk of Waukesha; Dr. Karin (fiancé Tobin Follenweider) Brueckner of Littleton, CO; Jacqueline (Dr. Daniel) Everts of Waupaca; Patrick (Sarah) Yatchak of Stillwater, MN; Christopher Yatchak of Minneapolis, MN; Annie(Eric) Knudson of Park Falls; and Joseph (Katherine) Fahrenkrug. Seven great- great nieces and nephews and her longtime neighbor and good friend, Charlotte. In addition to her husband Albert, she was preceded in death by her sister Gladys Perkins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church 407 Oak Street Neenah, with visitation from 10:30 AM until the 11:30 AM funeral service. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah. Memorials are appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church 407 Oak Street Neenah, WI 54956.
