Gregory "Greg" J. Jorgensen

November 18, 1959 — June 10, 2019

Gregory “Greg” J. Jorgensen of North Prairie passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Monday, June 10, 2019 at age 59. To know Greg, was to love Greg. He was born in Waukesha on November 18, 1959 the son of Stanley and Margaret (nee Ebhert) Jorgensen. He married the love of his life, Chinchi Rodriguez on December 31, 1999 at St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago. Greg was a longtime employee of Cooper Power/Eaton for the past 25 years. He had a love for golf and a passion for birding, especially in May when the Warblers were migrating. Greg was extremely proud to have witnessed his niece, Gwendolyn Jorgensen, win the Women’s Triathlon Olympic Gold Medal in the 2016 Rio games. He maintained an incredible sense of humor until the end and will always be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit and his warm and generous heart.

He will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 19 years, Chinchi of North Prairie and his brothers and sisters, Christine (Arturo) Jorgensen-Rendon, Gary Jorgensen, Charlene Hammer, Ken (Janet) Hudonjorgensen, Joel (Nancy) Jorgensen, William Chrostowski, Colleen Jorgensen-Fullhart, and Mary Beth (Marsh) Smith. Dear Godfather of Megan Battson and Hunter Neumann and endearing “brother Breg” to Brad & Family. He is further survived by his special sister-in-law, Mary Mahoney, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley, mother Margaret and brother Randie Jorgensen.

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to Dr. Raza and his staff, especially, Ally, Katie, Erin and Lisa for their kindness and devoted care, Dr. Clapper, and to special physical therapist Colleen, for keeping Greg strong throughout his challenging journey.

Sincere gratitude is also extended to AngelsGrace Hospice, especially, Jenna, Krissy, Erin, Kristie, Kayla, Paula, Sandy, Dave, Tony and Chaplain Tom for making Greg’s final days peaceful and comfortable and for their compassionate and loving hearts.

Also, special thanks to Miller Pharmacy in Mukwonago for their kind-heartedness and always going above and beyond during Greg’s illness.
