Guadalupe Lazcano- Reyes passed away at 11:55 PM on September 15th, 2019.
Guadalupe “Lupe” was born December 29th,1949 in El Potrero de los Indios Durango, Mexico the daughter of Rafael and Guadalupe (Reyes) Lazcano. She arrived to Waukesha on February of 1974. She will always be remembered as a strong, determined, and independent women. She was a storyteller and knew how to make her family laugh. She was a woman of many talents and willing to share them with all. Amongst other things she will be dearly missed for her cultural culinary skills. She was a devoted follower of christ. She did missionary work alongside her sister Concepcion with incarcerated followers of God in Racine County. Lupe was a spiritual pillar for her congregation at Templo La Hermosa, her entire Lazcano Family, and their community of friends.
Lupe will be sadly missed by her son, Olides Lazcano of West Allis and her grandson Simon Lazcano of Waukesha. She is further survived by her siblings, Josefa (Lauro) Melero, Epifanio (the late Leonilla) Lazcano, Petra (Donicio) Borrego, Concepcion (the late Lazaro) Perez Magdalena (Alejandro) Garcia, Jose (Consuelo) Lazcano, Maria (Victor) Yanez, Rafael (Mari Isela) Lazcano, Maria (Danny) Barker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents Rafael and Guadalupe (nee: Reyes) Lazcano.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 5:00 PM until the 7:00 PM funeral service at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Pastor Florentino Villo officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:30 AM. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:15 for the procession.
