Harold “Bud” C. Baker Jr. of Pewaukee passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born in Waukesha on October 29, 1955 the son of Harold Clyde and Mary Helen (nee Mayer) Baker Sr. Bud attended St. Joseph School, was a 1973 graduate of Catholic Memorial High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Marquette University. He worked for GE Healthcare for 38 years in medical design working on CT scanners. Bud was a handyman and could always be found working on a new project. He enjoyed hunting and clay shooting with his brothers, and was an avid golfer, playing on the GE League for many years. Most of all his pride and joy was his family, especially his daughter and two grandsons.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter who he loved and cherished, Nicole (Mike) Sullivan of Brookfield, his precious grandsons Declan and Aiden, his beloved significant other Lori Putnins of Pewaukee, his dear sister Kathleen (Thomas) Boyd of Cincinnati, OH, loving brothers Terry Baker of Oconomowoc, Joe (Julie Holmes) Baker of Oconomowoc and Ben Baker of West Milwaukee, and sister-in-law Mary Baker of Mukwonago. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tim Baker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the 7:00 p.m. funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha. Please meet at the cemetery.
