Harvey F. Lamp, of Hancock, WI, died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the UW Hospital in Madison following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 57 years. He was born in Waukesha on June 27, 1956 the son of Lawrence and Alice (nee Sievert) Lamp. On November 9, 1974 he married Judy Michalski in New Berlin. Harvey worked as a machinist for many years. Harvey was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, especially enjoying the Packers, Brewers and the Bucks. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Harvey’s family meant the world to him and he will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, brother, son and friend to many.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 39 years, Judy of Hancock and their children, James (Valerie) Lamp of Mukwonago and Michelle (Terry) Eckmann of Waukesha and his mother Alice Lamp of Genesee. He was the dear papa of Hannah, Kaitlyn, Nicholas and Addisyn. Beloved brother of Larry (Mary) Lamp of Waukesha, Donald (Shirley) Lamp of Watertown, Robert (Stella) Lamp of Nashotah, Thomas (Gail) Lamp of Hartland, Joanne Lamp of Waukesha, Edward (Lisa) Lamp of Delafield and Gary (Doris) Lamp of Richfield. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 4:00PM until the time of the 6:30PM funeral service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. A second visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM followed by a procession departing the funeral home at 11:00AM for burial at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
