Helen R. Anderson passed away peacefully on October 24th 2013 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of William and Dora (Connell) Niedermeier and was born and raised in Waukesha. She married R. Norman Anderson of Stoughton, WI on August 30, 1947 in Waukesha, where they made their home and raised three children. She graduated in 1939 from Waukesha High School, and went onto to graduate from Whitewater State Teachers College in 1943, where she was affiliated with the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. She taught several years as a business education teacher at Hartland, WI, and she was a lifelong member of the Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ and the Order of Eastern Star for many years.
Helen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. To her family, Helen will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her husband R. Norman Anderson and daughters Kathryn (Steve) Jacobs of New Berlin, WI, Christine (Eugene) Skogg of Orange, CT, son Roger of Waukesha, WI, and grandchildren Karen (Brian) Peterson, David Jacobs, Peter Skogg, and Mark Skogg, along with other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Fri., Nov. 29, 2013 in the chapel of the Congregational Home, 13900 W. Burleigh Rd., Brookfield, WI 53005. Visitation will begin at 2:00PM with the memorial service at 3:00PM. Memorials to the Congregational Home or the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
Private interment services will take place at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Pewaukee, WI.
