Helen M. Kutschenreuter, a longtime Waukesha resident, was born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the age of 97. She was born in Genesee Depot on April 14, 1918 the daughter of Elroy and Josephine (nee Pickart) Pronold. On June 1, 1946 she married Arthur Kutschenreuter; he preceded her in death on July 12, 1981. Helen worked at the bakery for Sentry Foods for many years and enjoyed participating in the Sentry Retirees Luncheons. She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packer fan. Helen loved Denny’s and going out to lunch, and especially enjoyed treating people to lunch. She was a faithful charter member of St. William Catholic Church. Helen remained very sharp until the end and she will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Jane (Daniel) Winter of Waukesha and Karen Kutschenreuter of Wauwatosa, her grandchildren, Christopher (Lara) Winter and Michael (Heidi) Winter and her great-grandchildren Logan, Brianna and Madelyn Winter. She is further survived by her brother Robert “Bob” Pronold of Waukesha, her sister-in-law Lucille Kutschenreuter of Pewaukee along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Paul “Jerry”, Richard and William Pronold and by her sisters Hazel Fleming and Elizabeth Pronold.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI. The Reverend Curt Frederick will preside. Private family burial will be held on Friday at Prairie Home Cemetery.
