Helen Roberts

Helen E. Roberts, of Waukesha, died on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at her home at Oakhill Terrace surrounded by her family at the age of 84. She was born in Delafield on January 8, 1928 the daughter of the late Edward and Ellen (nee Aikmen) Thomas. Helen’s faith was very important to her and she was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waukesha. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook. She will be forever remembered for her kind spirit and contagious smile. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” (Richard) Scaff, her son Alvin “Al” (Nancy) Roberts, her grandchildren: Lisa Scaff, James (Mindy) Scaff, Nicole (Andrew) Crawford, Lynne (Jason) Brandos, Gwen Roberts and granddaughter-in-law Courtney Scaff, her great-grandchildren: James William, Matthew, Michelle and Jessica Scaff, Jacob, Taylor and Chase Scaff, William and Payton Crawford, Dakota Brandos and Emma Maly along with another great-grandchild on the way. She is further survived by her sister Mabel Service, sister-in-law Norie Halverson along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William Roberts on August 23, 1989, her brother Lloyd Thomas, her daughter Judy Roberts, her son Edward Roberts, her grandsons Jason Scaff and Willie Roberts, her great-granddaughter Chelsie Scaff and her brother-in-law Vincent Service.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 from 1:00PM until the 3:00PM funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Burial will immediately follow at Salem Cemetery in Wales.
