Isidro J. Llanas of Waukesha died peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2017 at AngelsGrace Hospice surrounded by his loving family at the age of 77. He was born on May 15, 1939 the son of Amador Urives and Rosa (nee Balandran) Llanas. In September of 1964 he married Dora Carrillo. Isidro worked as a tool grinder for many years at Evinrude, Wisconsin Centrifugal and Generac and always said he was the best tool grinder in Waukesha. He loved gardening, working in his yard, camping and fishing and was an avid Packer fan. Most of all he enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He was a man of great wisdom and will always be remembered as a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Dora of Waukesha and their children, Marcelino (Cynthia) Llanas of San Antonio, TX, Annette (Kevin) Duehr of Suring, WI, Ramon Llanas of Dousman and Carla Rose Mendoza of Waukesha and his grandchildren Camile and Christopher Gromowski, Patrick Llanas, Marcus and Celina Llanas and Maritza, Gabriela and Dulce Maria Mendoza and one great-grandchild Kyan Gitzlaff-Gromowski. He is further survived by his sisters, Mary Marquez of Waukesha, Jane Marchan of Waukesha, and Susie (Santos) Gomez of Milwaukee; his brothers Angelo Llanas of Waukesha, Pablo Llanas of Muskego, Inez (Carmen) Llanas of Waukesha, Walter (Angie) Llanas of Waukesha, and Charlie Llanas of Waukesha, longtime friend and Pal Vincent Peña along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Socorro Llanas Torres, Josefina Llanas, Fidela Ybarra, Cristobal Llanas, Juan Llanas and Pedro Llanas Sr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 2:00 PM until the time of the 4:00 PM memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Memorials are appreciated to AngelsGrace Hospice, N74 W35908 Servants’ Way Oconomowoc, WI 53066.
